A KEIGHLEY menswear firm has again been named among the UK private companies with fastest-growing international sales.
Brook Taverner is one of 11 Yorkshire-based businesses included in the latest annual Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 league table.
The Haincliffe Road company is ranked at 179 – 18 places higher than last year.
It achieved international sales worth £6.4 million, representing average growth of about a third.
Amanda Murphy, of HSBC, said: “The Sunday Times International Track 200 shows the strength, ambition and resilience of companies across the UK.”
Brook Taverner, founded in 1912, is also expanding domestically.
Last November it opened a new menswear store in Northallerton – its second in Yorkshire, following on from a branch in Beverley. It also has three outlets in Scotland and is set to open another half-dozen stores across the UK.
