SILSDEN Library is staging activities to celebrate World Book Day.
A story time is being held on Wednesday (March 4).
And at the library’s science club – for seven-to-ten-year-olds – on Saturday, March 7, and the family chess club, between 3.45pm and 6pm on Monday, March 9, World Book Day books will be shared.
The library, based in Silsden Town Hall, is among a number across the district celebrating the annual initiative – designed to encourage a love of reading and books among young people.
Councillor Sarah Ferriby, Bradford Council’s executive member for healthy people and places, said: “There are lots of events taking place in our libraries this year to celebrate World Book Day and get children passionate about books.
“It is a great chance to promote reading and a love of books.”
