KEIGHLEY people are being invited to nominate their favourite bar, restaurant or nightclub for an accolade.
The first-ever Yorkshire Nightlife Awards have been launched.
A panel of industry experts will choose a shortlist of finalists, before winners are decided through a public vote.
In addition to best bar, restaurant and nightclub, there are also categories for start-up business and nightlife personality.
Behind the awards is hospitality and leisure industry insurance broker, NDML.
“We’re passionate about the industry – and the Yorkshire Nightlife Awards provide the ideal opportunity for us to celebrate the best of the best in our county,” said Victoria Romero-Trigo, for NDML.
“As hospitality and leisure businesses gradually reopen following a period of enforced closure, the awards offer a great opportunity for promotion which in turn will hopefully encourage people to visit new venues in Yorkshire.
“We’re excited to see which venues make the shortlist!”

The deadline for nominations is August 31 and a shortlist will be announced on September 7, ahead of the public vote opening.
