THE Friends of Haworth Park are celebrating.

Members spoke of their delight after the village's Central Park was awarded coveted Green Flag status for the 12th year running.

A spokesman added: "We work in partnership with Bradford Council's parks department, helping to keep our park beautiful and a vibrant recreation area for all."

The group welcomes new members.

To help cover the cost of insurance and ongoing projects, it has an annual subscription of £5 per person or £15 for corporate/group membership.
