A HOUSEBUILDER is extending a hugely-successful scheme launched to support NHS workers during the pandemic.
Barratt Developments Yorkshire West is offering the health staff a five per cent contribution, up to £15,000, towards their deposit when buying a property.
Since the initiative began in May, nearly 200 key workers across the region have benefited.
The venture was due to finish next month, but has now been extended until next June.
Barratt developments include Saxon Dene at Silsden and Hewenden Ridge, Cullingworth.
The company’s managing director, Ian Ruthven, said: “NHS workers perform selfless tasks day in, day out, and we are so grateful to have their support throughout the year. We hope that the extension of this scheme demonstrates our gratitude for the services they provide and continues to help people get on the property ladder.”
