WHARFEDALE schoolchildren have enjoyed a festive-themed colouring competition.
Miller Homes invited pupils from Bramhope Primary School to take part in the event - and were thoroughly impressed with the results.
The housing developer is building 321 homes at its Spring Wood Park development in the village, which is near the school. Sales Manager for Miller Homes Yorkshire, Sarah Whinfrey, said: “We received some fantastic entries from children across the whole school and it was a delight to look through to choose our winners.
“We thank all the children for putting so much effort into their designs and to making our Miller Christmas feel wonderfully festive.”
A Year 3 pupil, Beth Chau, was the winner with Ted and Rose, from Years 2 and 6 respectively, chosen as the runners up. Beth received a colouring compendium while Rose and Ted each received a book voucher.
