THE trial of a driver accused of seriously injuring a police officer by allegedly dragging him along a road in Keighley has been set for a December 13 start.
Such is the pressure on the listing of cases at Bradford Crown Court and elsewhere, the four-day hearing could not be accommodated any sooner.
Mohammed Faisal Ayub, 31, of Springfield Road, Utley, denies dangerous driving in a Toyota Yaris on Ashleigh Street on July 10 last year. He also pleads not guilty to unlawfully and maliciously causing grievous bodily harm to a police officer with intent.
Ayub had his bail extended until the new trial date.
