PLANS have been put forward to build industrial units on a former allotment site in Keighley.
Cross Hills-based Parkside Properties has submitted an outline planning application to develop the 1,970-square-metre site at the junction of Kensington Street and Goulbourne Street – near Holycroft Primary School.
If approved, four light industrial units would be constructed on the long-empty plot – creating 720 square metres of new industrial space for the town.
There would be one large unit and three smaller units.
The application shows that there would also be parking spaces for 15 cars.
Access to the site will be from Goulbourne Street.
West Yorkshire Police were consulted and have asked for various recommendations to be considered should approval be granted.
Bradford Council is expected to make a decision on the application early next month.
