A SPOTLIGHT has been shone on the essential role of food banks during the past year as the impact of the pandemic has created unprecedented demand for their services.
The importance of their provision has perhaps never been greater.
But food banks have been offering help to needy families and individuals across the Keighley area for many years.
Here we step back to the summer of 2018, when members of Keighley Ahmadiyya Muslim Association donated goods they had collected at their mosque to the food bank operated by the town’s Salvation Army.
