A KEIGHLEY girl has sacrificed her flowing hair to help children with cancer.

Isabella Mia Scott-Jones had 16 inches in length cut in support of the Little Princess Trust.

The trust provides real-hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.

As well as donating her hair, Isabella, nine, is also raising money for the charity.

More than £700 has been coined-in through an online fundraising page, at justgiving.com/fundraising/gemma-scott-jones.

Also, at Isabella’s school – Beckfoot Nessfield – her year group took part in a ‘crazy hair day’ to boost funds.

Mum, Emma, said: “Isabella absolutely loves her new haircut and is so happy that her hair will make another child smile.

“We are so incredibly proud of her.”

In addition to providing real-hair wigs, the Little Princess Trust funds research into childhood cancer. It receives no formal funding.
