Call for police action in rural areas
FURTHER to your headline in the June 3 edition of the Keighley News – Call to slam brakes on anti-social motorists – I welcome action by the police, however it is not just Keighley that suffers with this problem.
Our villages and rural areas also have to endure dangerous speeding traffic and illegal parking. Perhaps a police presence and parking wardens could be extended to these districts too? Vans with a camera can easily be parked unmanned to help tackle the problem of speeding.
