A DRAMA company is bringing Macbeth to East Riddlesden Hall.
The Lord Chamberlain’s Men will give an outdoor performance at the National Trust property on August 18.
The touring production – featuring an all-male cast with Elizabethan costumes, music and dance – has received rave reviews.
“The performance takes place on our fields so it’s a great opportunity to enjoy a picnic whilst watching the play,” said a hall spokesperson. “Audience members will need to bring their own refreshments, chairs and blankets. Ice creams and cold drinks will be for sale on the night. Children are welcome, but as the actors will not be using microphones it’s important the audience remains quiet. And sorry, no dogs allowed.”
The performance starts at 7pm, with gates open from 6pm. Tickets start at £10 from tlcm.co.uk/boxoffice/. Booking is essential.
