AN ONLINE social history archive is going from strength to strength with thousands of followers and visitors from around the world.
Carlo Harrison who launched the Back-Chat Collection website https://back-chat.org.uk/ a year ago says it has 6,140 followers.
He said: "Back-Chat as a piece of social history will when the rules allow still be placed into a time capsule in Yeadon Town Hall and I will make sure that everyone is aware of dates and times when I know them. I am currently assembling an interactive index of subjects covered so far.
"All narrators talk about their childhood, families, holidays, Christmases, and school life added to that, and I am about threequarters of the way through there are some 500+ subjects covered from Adoption to Ghosts and Silver Cross to Zumba. People from 47 different countries have visited the website from places as far flung as Argentina, South Korea, Egypt, and Nepal and of course all of the countries you would expect ex pats to be in.
