I WALKED past the former Beales store in Keighley, whose ground floor is to become the new home of the Department for Work and Pensions.
Given that there have not been any takers yet for the first floor, why not move in some council services, thus saving at least part of the £19 million proposed 'hub', and maybe even helping to preserve the green space on North Street.
This is a personal opinion from me as a resident, not as a town councillor.
