A DISTRICT MP is backing a campaign led by the Alzheimer’s Society to help improve the lives of people with dementia.
Philip Davies, whose Shipley constituency includes Cullingworth and Denholme, met with representatives of the charity and pledged support for its Cure the Care System initiative.
The campaign is pressing for changes to the care system to better suit the needs of people with dementia.
“I will continue working with the society to ensure reforms to the system brought forward by the Government meet the needs of those living with dementia,” he said.
