KEIGHLEY army cadets have given their support to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
Members of the Yorkshire North and West D Company spent a day selling poppies in the Airedale Shopping Centre. They are also taking part in the town’s Remembrance Sunday parade.
Detachment commander Michelle Young said: “Whilst selling poppies we met some incredibly generous people.”
The cadets meet at the Drill Hall on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7pm to 9pm. For more details, visit armycadets.com.
