Silsden fire station
A CHRISTMAS-themed event takes place at Silsden fire station this Friday (November 26).
There will be a range of attractions at the Elliott Street site, between 3pm and 7pm, including a Santa's grotto and stalls.
Food and drinks will be available, there will be face painting and – at 3.45pm – carols.
A festive lights switch-on will take place at 4.45pm.
The event is being organised by the firefighters, who are raising money for the Hive – a charity-run community centre in the town.
People are also welcome to donate gifts which will be given to care home residents nearer Christmas.
