HOUSEBUILDER Barratt Developments Yorkshire West is inviting charities across the district to apply for cash aid.

But applications in the latest round of funding need to be submitted by Christmas Eve.

The company – whose schemes include Saxon Dene, at Silsden – is giving away up to £1,000 each month to a different registered charity through its community fund.

Applications are now being considered for next month, February and March.

The fund is part of the Barratt Foundation.

A spokesperson said: "The foundation was established to highlight the work the company does to support both local and national charities.

"It aims to promote social inclusion to support people of all ages, religions, race, financial position and background to integrate with – and benefit from – society."

Ian Ruthven, managing director of Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, said: "We are delighted to once again be accepting nominations for our community fund.

"The initiative is dedicated to supporting as many registered charities across the Bradford district as possible and we are delighted to have already helped many deserving organisations. We thoroughly look forward to welcoming further nominations and building relationships with more incredible charities from the area."

Applications should be emailed to lisa.prudhoe@barratthomes.co.uk.
