A HOUSEBUILDER is spreading festive joy to NHS workers across the region.
Barratt Developments Yorkshire West has donated seasonal hampers, together worth over £950, to NHS organisations as a thank-you for going 'above and beyond' during the pandemic.
Darren Johnson, construction director at the company, said: "This is the season of giving but NHS and frontline workers across the country have sacrificed so much to support others in their time of need over the last year.
“Barratt Developments is dedicated to supporting the communities in which it builds and we hope our donation to NHS workers spreads some cheer."
The firm also gave £1,650 to homeless charities.
Barratt's developments include Saxon Dene at Silsden and, under the David Wilson Homes brand, Hewenden Ridge in Cullingworth.
