NORTHERN – which runs train services on the Airedale line – has been shortlisted for three prestigious accolades.
The company is among the finalists in the annual Rail Business Awards.
It has been shortlisted for its efforts to improve diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and its commitment to environmental sustainability.
And Charlotte Harris, a member of the management team, is in the running for the Young Professional of the Year honour.
Northern chief operating officer, Tricia Williams, said the company was "absolutely delighted" to be a finalist in three categories.
"The awards recognise excellence across the UK rail industry and there is always intense competition for the much-wanted accolades," she said. "We're really proud of our ongoing work."
Winners will be announced next month.
