A KEIGHLEY performing arts school is celebrating after seven students enjoyed a 100 per cent success rate with English Youth Ballet.
All seven girls from Sara Packham Theatre School who auditioned were offered a place to perform with the prestigious company at Easter.
They will appear in Coppelia, at St George’s Hall, Bradford.
"I'm thrilled for all the girls – they worked so hard on their audition videos and deserve their success," said Sara.
"I am really looking forward to watching them perform."
Sara said that despite Covid restrictions and periods of lockdown, the school had managed to continue – and maintain high standards.
Exams – by video submission – have been taken in ballet and tap, with many students attaining distinctions.
Also, well over £1,000 was raised for good causes Mind, Papyrus and Sue Ryder.
Sara adds: "The new year sees students taking exams, auditioning for full-time training and preparing for a long-awaited performance of The Nutcracker – this was due to happen two years ago and we are just hoping it can go ahead in November.
"All in all there has been much to celebrate, and we look forward to an enjoyable term with new and exciting challenges."
