A FREE African drumming workshop is being held in Keighley.
The event takes place at Little Nomad – in the former Marks & Spencer building, Low Street – on Sunday, February 6, from 1pm to 3pm.
Anyone is welcome to attend.
Behind the venture is Simon Woodvine, who runs a weekly African drumming group – Keep The Beat – at Cross Roads.
"I'm running the workshop so I can show people that activities such as group drumming are fantastic for both physical and mental wellbeing – it helps people focus on the 'here and now' rather than worrying about problems and issues," he said. "It's a great form of therapy to combat stress, anxiety and depression."
