A VILLAGE gala is returning after a two-year absence due to the pandemic.
Riddlesden Gala takes place on Saturday, June 18.
The event will begin with a parade through the village, led by the Gala King and Queen.
It will head to Riddlesden St Mary's Primary School where there will be stalls, activities, entertainment and refreshments.
"It will be a family fun event not to be missed," said a spokesperson for the organising committee.
"Those wishing to apply for the King and Queen roles will be invited to do so within the next few weeks.
"We are also looking for donations for a toy stall and tombola, as well as stallholders and anyone willing to give-up some of their time to help. More details will follow."
Proceeds from the event will go to a local children's charity.
Over the years, the gala has raised thousands of pounds for good causes.
