A SHOP which donates its proceeds to good causes has received an accolade.
New 2U was amongst the finalists in the Craven Community Champions Awards.
It was one of three nominees shortlisted in the 'greener' category and a certificate is now on display in the shop.
"We feel very proud," said Andrea Moore, for New 2U.
"Our nomination in the greener section was due to the recycle/reuse ethos to which we work.
"We'd like to thank all our donors and customers for their support."
New 2U – based at St Andrew's Church, in Walton Street, Cowling – is open from 2pm to 4pm Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 10am to noon on Saturdays.
Since its launch, more than £26,500 has been donated to good causes.
