I HAVE very recently spent 48 hours in Airedale Hospital.
The 111 call was answered almost immediately, the ambulance arrived within ten minutes, and I was no longer than five minutes waiting in A&E. In the time I was there I was assessed by two paramedics and one A&E doctor, seen by four surgeons, and treated appropriately by the nursing staff on the acute ward.
Credit where credit is due. My whole experience was first class and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all those involved.
Stephen Davies, Sutton-in-Craven
