POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a robbery at Silsden.

The incident happened at about 9.50pm yesterday, outside the Aldi supermarket in Keighley Road.

A motorcyclist was approached by a group of six males, who threatened him and took his red and black Yamaha.

A short time later police received two reports of a motorbike being ridden dangerously in a car park at Worth Way, Keighley.

Officers attended and two male youths, aged 15 and 16, were arrested on suspicion of robbery. They remain in police custody.

Anyone who witnessed the robbery or saw the motorbike being driven dangerously, or has dashcam or mobile phone footage, is asked to contact the police.
