The first of a series of Christian Aid Lenten lunches is to be staged tomorrow, beginning at noon, at Keighley's Salvation Army centre.
The annual initiative is sponsored by Keighley Churches Together.
The Salvation Army centre, in High Street, will host a lunch on each of the six Fridays of Lent. A team from a different church each week prepares the meal, which consists of soup, bread, cheese and tea or coffee.
The meals are served by pupils from Holy Family Catholic School, who also do the washing up. Everyone is welcome which runs from midday.
