The first of the year's rock nights at Glusburn Institute got off to a storming start, say organisers.
More than 150 people watched a powerful mix of music from local bands Room to Move, Ridings and Eris.
David Pedrick, one of the organisers, said it was good to see so many people having a good time.
He said: "We are now planning for the next gigs and we hope to have an equally good line-up for each one."
The concerts will be on February 29 and March 14 and are dubbed "Fridays for a Fiver".
Local band Assembly plays the Institute on March 1.
