An Oakworth man's careful restoration work has brought him success at a major motorcycle show in the Midlands.
Colin Cooper won the "Best Honda" category in the eighth Japanese Motorcycle Show, staged at Donington Park.
The judges were highly impressed by the condition of his 1976 model Honda CB 750 and awarded him a trophy and a cheque for £100.
Mr Cooper, 54, a lorry driver for Yorkshire Electricity, said he was surprised but delighted to have done so well. I was up against bikes worth a lot more money than mine," he said.
"Some of them probably had much more spent on them but the judges obviously still thought mine was the best."
He said he had owned the Honda for eight years, though has ridden motorbikes for longer.
He added he has now been invited to take part in the Champion of Champions Concourse Motorcycle event at the Three Counties showground, in Malvern, in November.
