A KEIGHLEY charity seeking to expand its workforce to take the organisation to the "next era" is inviting applications for two new roles.

But people have just until next Friday, August 26, to put themselves forward as candidates for the posts.

Dementia Friendly Keighley is recruiting a centre manager, and fundraising and projects co-ordinator.

The charity's chair, Luke Maunsell, says: "Dementia Friendly Keighley is very much looking forward to its next stage as a charity and needs two new members of staff to help it on this journey.

"Dementia Friendly Keighley has been going from strength to strength and the board of trustees wants to continue this journey.

"Anyone who joins will have the full support of the board and whatever they need to assist them.

"Also, we are always on the lookout for additional trustees to join our friendly, warm team to further support us in this exciting new phase. Please do get in touch, we would love to hear from you."

Dementia Friendly Keighley, which supports people living with the condition and their loved ones, has an information and support centre in the Airedale Shopping Centre. It is open weekdays 10am-4pm.
