A FORMER international footballer from Keighley is to speak about his life and career.
Mike Hellawell will talk about his 'journey' from the streets of 1950s Keighley to the world's greatest football stadiums.
The event is at Keighley Library on Saturday, September 10, at 2pm.
Entry is free, but places can be reserved by calling 01535 618215.
A spokesperson said: "People are invited to come along and listen to the fascinating and humbling journey of an ordinary lad from Keighley who ended up living the dream.
"Mike's story isn't just about about his football career. You will be given an insight into his childhood and what life was like growing up in Keighley."
Mike made over 170 appearances for Birmingham City and played for England.
