MEMBERS of Haworth Riding for the Disabled (RDA) have returned from a Special Olympics with a clutch of medals.
The riders took part in two days of competition at the event, at Parklands Equestrian Centre in Sheffield.
Haworth RDA founder Jackie Butterfield said she was "extremely proud" of all those who participated.
Categories were dressage, working trials and horse care and knowledge.
Medal winners included Jacob Spur, Gabby Reed Griffiths, T jay Wilson and Jenny Lee, and Lucy Hargreaves and Rose Green — who were both also overall section winners.
The event marked a return – for the first time in nearly two-and-a-half years – to full-scale competition with a new-format Special Olympics GB summer series of sport.
