A BOWLING club has celebrated its 90th anniversary.
The Haworth club, based in the village's Central Park, staged a party and tournament.
The club was founded in Spring Head Road, and moved to the park in 1937.
Over 30 guests attended the birthday event, which included a buffet – provided by club members – and a performance from a quartet of Haworth Band members. And 24 people took part in the tournament.
A spokesperson said: "The aspirations of the club are to continue to grow and become a community sports hub.
"Bowling improves flexibility, balance, mobility, hand-eye co-ordination, your mental health and wellbeing. You can enjoy outdoor activity in a beautiful, Grade II listed, Green Flag park.
"Experienced and novice players are welcome. But you don’t even have to be a bowler to be a member."
The club can be contacted through its Facebook page, Haworth Central Park Bowling Club.
