HORSE riders gathered at the war memorial in Cullingworth today for a 'farewell ride' around the village to pay their respects to the late Queen – who was well known for her love of horses.
The riders stopped en route at St John the Evangelist Church, where vicar the Rev Alison Wooding said a prayer and the bells were rung.
"Many horse riders gathered for the farewell ride," said a spokesperson.
"We wanted to pay our respects on the morning of her majesty’s funeral."
