FURNITURE retailer Fabb – which has a store in Keighley – has given a boost to Prostate Cancer UK.
The company has donated £3,500 – collected across 19 branches nationally – to the charity.
Of the total, over £430 was coined-in by staff and customers at Keighley's Alston Retail Park outlet.
The initiative also aimed to raise awareness of the disease.
One in eight men will develop prostate cancer and the earlier it's diagnosed, the more likely treatment will be successful.
Victoria Camp, for Fabb, says: "We are extremely passionate about the health and wellbeing of all our customers and our employees and that’s why we wanted to help.
"Prostate cancer is still not spoken about enough. The key to a cure is to catch it early.
"We were delighted to raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK and will continue to talk about the disease so awareness levels remain high."
