HAWORTH West Lane Baptist Amateur Operatic Society will launch the festive season in style.
The society is staging A Dickens of a Christmas in Song and Story.
There will be secular music and carols, from Victorian to contemporary times.
A spokesperson said: "The music will be mixed with playlets and readings from A Christmas Carol – a chance to look back on Christmases past whilst anticipating what's yet to be."
Performances are on Wednesday, November 30, and Friday, December 2, at 7.30pm, and on Saturday, December 3, at 2.30pm.
They will take place at West Lane Baptist Church, in the village.
