ALFRED Wainwright's Lake District will be the subject of an illustrated talk at the next Lees Methodist Church Meeting Point session.
Tito Arana will talk about Wainwright's famous walks and the man behind them.
"Tito has walked many of the routes – some of which involved not just going along the lower plains but also to the heights of the mighty crags," says church spokesperson Maurice Baren.
"He's also an excellent photographer, so come along and experience the wonders of the Lake District in the comfort of a warm room – and save on your energy bill!"
The meeting is at the church, opposite Lees Primary School, on Wednesday, November 16. Tea and biscuits will be available from 1.45pm and the presentation begins at 2pm.
