NATIVITY performances have been staged in schools across the Keighley district.
At Oxenhope Primary, foundation and Key Stage One children retold the story of Jesus’ birth for parents.
And alongside the traditional shepherds, angels and wise men, the line up included camels and even penguins.
“It was absolutely magical,” says headteacher Alice Jones.
“The children did us proud and really brought the Christmas spirit to Oxenhope.”
Also, the Friends of Oxenhope School staged an event for pupils in the school’s Blackwell Woods nature area.
Activities included a treasure hunt, crafts and carol singing. And warm drinks and biscuits were served.
