PLANS have been unveiled to convert the third floor of a mill building into a gym.
A planning application has been submitted to Bradford Council for the scheme, at Cullingworth Mill.
The building – at Greenside Lane, in the village – houses an antiques centre, but the upper floors are vacant.
Behind the application is Rhys Bokalo.
A planning statement says there is "real and significant" demand for new gyms in the area and that the scheme would see the mill building "fully restored and its local heritage retained".
It adds: "The works will accommodate a modern business whilst retaining the historical character, as beams and roof trusses will be an intrinsic feature of the design."
A decision on the application is expected in February.
