THE RSPB's Craven-area group meets next Wednesday, January 11.
Speaker will be Ollie Metcalf – a conservationist, ecologist and environmentalist, who has recently been part of a team studying the nocturnal migration of the common scoter.
Joyce Varley, for the group, says: "Ollie is an experienced speaker with a wealth of knowledge on noc-mig and many other topics, and this is a fascinating presentation."
The meeting takes place at the Baptist Church Hall, Rectory Lane, Skipton, at 7.30pm. Admission is £4, including refreshments.
