A KEIGHLEY Model Railway Club open day has been hailed as a huge success.
The festive season event was held at the clubrooms in Knowle Mill, South Street.
There were layouts in all scales, and people were invited to run trains received as Christmas presents.
Steve Ward, for the club, says: "It was a very good event.
"We had lots of visitors throughout the day, with very little respite. It was good to see regular visitors as well as many new ones. We'd like to thank everyone who came along.
"There was a great atmosphere, and a lot of interest was shown in joining the club.
"Many people had questions answered about how to improve and add to their layouts at home."
Refreshments were provided by Denholme Scouts.
The club's next event is the spring open day, on Sunday, April 30.
