A LANTERN parade held at a Keighley park has been hailed as a huge success.
Several hundred people attended the event, in Lund Park.
Other attractions included Asian drummers, the Jamba community samba band and a fire show.
The event was organised by Lund Park Community Group.
Abdul Shohid, for the group, says: "We have held the lantern parade for the last two years and it is a really successful event, where families and the whole community get together.
"We'd like to thank all the volunteers and the town and district councils for their support. We had over 350 people turn up to the event. We plan to host it again next year."
Amongst those present was Keighley town mayor, Councillor Luke Maunsell.
He said: "It was a fabulous and memorable night.
"I am delighted that Keighley Town Council gets behind such a fantastic event and wonderful group of volunteers."
