A KEIGHLEY performing arts academy has donated £1,000 to Sue Ryder.
BOLT Academy chose to support the charity, which runs Manorlands hospice at Oxenhope, last summer and has raised funds at its regular shows since.
The organisation’s founder, Freddie Bolt, says: "We are delighted to make this donation and the team is busy raising money to give a second contribution in the summer. This will be boosted at our next performance, Snow White and the 37 Dwarfs."
Tickets are now available for the show, at Bingley Arts Centre between May 31 and June 3. Go to tinyurl.com/2v2xtj9p.
Manorlands community fundraising manager, Andrew Wood, says: "We were delighted when Freddie got in touch to tell us we'd been selected as their charity. We are so grateful."
