CHILDREN at Oxenhope Primary School have been getting close to nature.
Pupils took part in a forest school led by Lizzie Lee, of Bee Outdoors.
"The children had a fantastic time – their beaming faces said it all!" says a spokesperson for Oxenhope Primary.
"They enjoyed using their initiative and creativity to build homes for different creatures, and they worked together on developing their team-building and communication skills to construct dens for themselves.
"The pupils also took time to look at nature in detail and learned about our beautiful surroundings.
"We are so lucky to have our own Blackwell Woods nature area and can’t wait to develop it further.
"Thanks go to Lizzie for a great day – we look forward to seeing you again!"
