A CRICKET club is bowled over with its latest support.
Bingley Congs has been pledged continued backing from thermal clothing and home shopping giant, Damart.
The company – whose warehousing facility is at Steeton – has agreed a year-long sponsorship deal, which will include board displays at the club's Beckfoot Lane ground and the funding of new kits for the under-nines and a newly-launched under-11s team.
Claire Allcock, people director at Damart, says: "As well as supporting our charity partners, we feel it is really important to give something back to the local community.
"We’re always thrilled to support clubs like Bingley Congs and see the positive impact our sponsorship has. We wish the teams every success for the season."
David Tarren, cricket club chair, said: "We'd like to thank Damart for its continued support.
"Sponsorship from businesses is invaluable in supporting the work that we do. This year we have a new under-11s team and are grateful to Damart for helping fund its kits."
