HARRON Homes – whose developments include The Banks at Silsden – has appointed a new part exchange manager.

Scott Latimer will oversee the scheme, which enables customers to trade in their hold house for a new one, across Yorkshire.

Mr Latimer, a former estate agent, says: "My previous role provided me with a well-rounded idea of the property market.

"One of the most frustrating things about moving house is being dependent on others in the property chain. With part exchange, these problems aren’t an issue. You have a guaranteed buyer for your house, who won’t try to renegotiate, pull out or undercut you."

The appointment is welcomed by Alison Taylor-Shaw, sales and marketing director with Harron Homes Yorkshire.

She says: "We’re delighted to have Scott on board. He has settled right in and shown himself to be a strong team player with a breadth of knowledge perfectly suited to delivering our customers their dream homes.

"Having a dedicated part exchange manager ensures our customers are fully supported in the process."
