A CARE home group has been highly commended in an awards scheme.
Spellman Care, whose homes include Springbank at Silsden and Steeton Court, received the recognition in the national Stars of Social Care Awards.
Representatives from the group attended a presentation ceremony at the Marriott Hotel, Regent's Park, London.
Spellman Care – which has been operating locally for over 30 years – was a finalist across four categories, and highly commended in the Outstanding Care Home Provider section.
Philippa Young, group operations manager, says: "This is fantastic recognition for the exceptional work that everyone does.
"We're passionate that people living in our homes should enjoy the very best possible lifestyle and standard of care, and that our staff feel valued and effectively supported to be able to provide this.
"It is testament to the hard work of everyone that we were highly commended. We are incredibly proud to have been recognised and will continue to deliver kind, dignified and compassionate care across all our homes."
