A LEADING UK historical fiction writer is visiting Haworth to launch her latest novel.
Kate Mosse will be at West Lane Baptist Centre on Sunday, July 16, at 2pm.
She will read from The Ghost Ship, answer questions and sign copies.
The book, inspired by the real-life story of 18th-century pirates Anne Bonny and Mary Read, is the latest in Kate's Joubert family chronicles.
The author is founding director of the Women’s Prize for Fiction/Non-Fiction and of the global #WomanInHistory campaign.
Tickets for the book launch are available, priced £5, from Wave of Nostalgia bookshop in Main Street, Haworth, or at waveofnostalgia.co.uk/event-tickets. There will be ten per cent off all books at the event.
Wave of Nostalgia owner Diane Park says: "Kate is not only a great writer, she is also a champion of women’s writing.
"We are delighted and amazed that such a well-known author has chosen to visit."
