YORKSHIRE Water says it is doing everything possible to support customers struggling with their bills.
The company has upped its financial support package to £115 million over the current five-year period.
Yorkshire Water says a number of schemes are available to help people who may be facing difficulties due to the cost-of-living crisis, and it urges anyone with concerns to get in touch – visit yorkshirewater.com/bill-account/help-paying-your-bill or call 0345 1299 299.
Spokesperson Angie Markham–Nock says: "We are doing what we can to keep our commitment to support our customers during these financially difficult times. Across all our support schemes in 2022-23, over 90,000 customers have been helped, and we are expecting that number to increase.
"We want to help take the pressure off where possible."
