THREE golfers are holing cash for Sue Ryder.

Mark Desgranges, of Cowling, and Sam Baldwin and Angus Mccabe, from Skipton, will play two rounds in a day to raise funds for the charity, which runs Manorlands hospice at Oxenhope.

They will start early on Sunday, August 13, and aim to finish by 7pm.

Their challenge takes place at Skipton Golf Club.

"Everyone knows somebody – or knows of someone – who has been in the care of Sue Ryder staff and about the great work the charity does," says Mark.

"We're getting behind the cause by trying to raise as much as we can."

The trio has an online fundraising page, at justgiving.com/page/mark-desgranges-1689192465548.

Manorlands supports patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families at the hospice and in the community.

All services are free to patients and loved ones, but it costs over £10,000 a day to keep the hospice running.
